Dance Co-Presidents Samantha Camp and Renee Gable have been participating in inclusion discussions around campus this year, such as Diversity and Inclusion Discussions (DID) and being a part of training with the Diversity and Inclusion Board (DIB). We are making sure that disability as a part of diversity is being brought to light. Never be afraid to stand up and point out issues that you see around campus. Identifying issues is the beginning to creating solutions. On December 3rd we met together in order to talk about disability services and disability rights in a space space. We had an awesome time opening up about our feelings and things we would like to happen here on our campus. Featured below is Co-President Renee Gable with Melissa Rey
Ashely Tomlin is currently reviewing the documents in order to push our club to SGA for approval as a club.
Dance is currently in the process of getting approved as a club on the Wesleyan College Campus.
Ms. Tonya Parker and Dr. Tyler Schwaller have graciously agreed to be co-sponsors of the club. On the week of 11-13-2017 a co-president is meeting with Ashley Tomlin in order to discuss the creation of the club. ** Interest meeting coming soon! ** |
